One Piece Club (OPC) is an international, non-profit, membership-based organisation where both novice collectors and seasoned connoisseurs of contemporary art can gather and share their experiences. Ms. Hiroko Ishinabe launched the first OPC in Japan in 2007, and since then, OPC has expanded to other major Asian countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, China, and Malaysia.
The Indonesian branch. established in 2019, is led by founders Melani W. Setiawan and Tom Tandio, as well as board members Cosmas Gozali, Winda Malika Siregar, and Dian Sastrowardoyo Sutowo.
Our Activities
OPC aspires to bring art to a wider audience by making it more approachable and less intimidating to the uninitiated. Through monthly excursions to a variety of galleries, museums, art festivals, artist studios, artist talks, and collectors’ homes, members are encouraged to learn about various ways that people build their art collections and discover new contemporary works of art that they may wish to add to their own.
Art Visit
Monthly visits to galleries, museums, art fairs, artists’ studios, etc. accompanied and guided by art specialists and our core committees.
Art Gathering
Specially tailored gatherings for members to discuss art related topics, exchange knowledge, and share experiences in art collecting.
Exhibition
A special Collectors' Show will be held every year, featuring works collected by members throughout the latest year.
Join us!
Our membership is open for individuals who are passionate and interested in collecting contemporary art.
- Members are encouraged to collect at least one living contemporary artist’s work each year.
- Member are encouraged to enhance his/her artistic appreciation, by: visiting art museums, art biennales and artists’ studios, visiting art galleries and art fairs to find their favourite artworks.
- Member will present his/her collection at the member exhibition
- Gallery owners, professional artists, art dealers, art managers are not eligible for membership
